This is one of Creative Driveways’ latest tar and chip projects in Limerick City.

First of all we dug out the original driveway and laid and compacted our foundation. We installed a row of ACO drainage system set in concrete at the front of the house, to prevent any water pooling in that area.

To mirror the beautiful railway sleepers flower beds on one side, we built an exact copy on the other.

We built a new kerbed step at the front door to match the future driveway.

We poured down two layers of hot tarmac all over the driveway and topped it with 6 mm Ballylusk golden chippings. The whole surface was then power-rolled to achieve a strong bond.
